Basics of Supply Chain Management

The Basics of Supply Chain Management covers the basic concepts in managing the complete flow of materials in a supply chain from suppliers to customers. With this first module, supply chain concepts are introduced and basic terminology is emphasized. In addition, relationships among activities in the supply chain are accentuated.

This module requires 30 hours of training in order to prepare for the examination. Organizations can choose between two training options, depending on what best meets the organization's needs:
  • 10 sessions, 3 hours per session
  • 4 sessions, 7.5 hours per session
This training ensures that participants are well prepared to pass their APICS CPIM Examination.
