Execution & Control of Operations

Execution and Control of Operations focuses on executing the master plans. The training involved in the fourth module will focus on the areas of prioritizing and sequencing work, executing work plans and implementing controls, reporting activity results, and providing feedback on performance. Techniques for scheduling and controlling production processes, the execution of quality initiatives and continuous improvement plans, and the control and handling of inventories are explained.

This module requires 30 hours of training in order to prepare for the examination. Organizations can choose between two training options, depending on what best meets the organization's needs:
  • 10 sessions, 3 hours per session
  • 4 sessions, 7.5 hours per session
This training ensures that participants are well prepared to pass their APICS CPIM Examination.
